FUN WITH PHONICS for Kids of 5 to 8 year The “Fun with Phonics” workshop intends to build the Phonetic skills in children of 5 years of age and above. Phonetic Awareness helps children to read and write at a much faster pace. It helps them tremendously with the spelling formations. Very soon they will start enjoying reading and it is best suggested to begin with good levelled readers like I Love Reading which are excellent.

The basic sound of the letters will be introduced in an interactive way and will be followed by specific worksheets and write-ups. Once the first sounds and 5 Short-Vowel Sounds are covered we move on to:

Blends, Three-letter CVC words, Diagraphs, R-Controlled vowels, Long vowel sounds, Diphthongs, Silent letters , Breaking down words, K, C and CK endings etc.

Lots of spellings and reading for related concepts will be done.

Max 6 kids per batch. All the material will be provided at the centre. There will be a guidance session for the parents at the end of the course.
