Kids Storage Throwin Series Kids Kouch

Be it kids room or any other room in the house storage is never enough. We always wish that there was more. Kids these days have SO MANY toys. Holidays, Birthdays and relatives visiting from aboard all bring in a whole new collection of toys. Most parents with the thought of how to get toy collections under control.

STEP ONE: EDIT THE COLLECTION REGULARLY.
It harder to tell younger kids to give away their toys but  if you have older kids ages 6+ then it is a must to ask them to give up 2-3 toys before their birthdays and the holiday season. This way we can teach them a valuable lesson of charity and also make space for the new toys. For the little ones who do not like to give away, it is good to take their toys out in rotation. If a particular toy is missed then you know it’s time to make it magically reappear after a nap. But if after a week they don’t make any mention of a toy, I think it’s safe to donate it.

STEP TWO: WHAT ARE THE BEST STORAGE SOLUTIONS FOR TOYS?
It is important to choose kids storage system that utilizes space smartly and one that work well for the kind of toys your kids own. Whether you have a dedicated played area or not it is important to choose the right kind of storage for you kids toys.

Most kids have a mix of small and large toys and then there are board games too. Baskets and bins are our favorites for quick organization and clean up.  Legos, toy cars, figurines etc can be easily sorted and organised in bins and baskets. Even if you don’t have enough space for a stand-alone storage unit just for toys having some handy bins lined up against a wall or under the bed is just as functional. Kid’s toy boxes and bins help to store like toys together and we can also label the bins using pictures and text which helps kids of all ages to find what they want and to know where things go back. You can print the labels and get them laminated before you stick them on these bins.
